Bank of Scotland (Edinburgh) Curling Club has been in existence for over 60 years. Membership is open to past and present employees of Bank of Scotland, it's parent company and it's subsidiaries.

We run a number of competitions throughout the season, both internally and against other curling clubs, and pride ourselves on being a very sociable club. Most games are played on weekday evenings at Murrayfield Curling Rink, Edinburgh.

The club’s AGM is held at the end of the season, followed by a dinner for club members.

ROBSON STONES

The Committee on behalf of the Club purchased 2 pairs of Curling Stones

The stones are in quite good condition. Not only can these stones be used in a Grand Match, should that ever take place, but the Committee intend to actively seek a club that have an outside rink to try and fix up an outside game should the conditions ever present themselves. Individuals in the club who might find themselves with a chance to play an outside game not necessarily with the Bank could also use these stones.

The stones were purchased with funds donated for the benefit of the Club and have been named the Robson Stones in recognition of that generosity..

COVID 19 UPDATE

As at July 2024, there are no specific Covid-19 rules in force at the rink. It is entirely up to individual members as to whether they wish to wear masks in the building or not.

If you do contract Covid 19, please do not attend any games for the safety of other curlers. You should not return to curling until you have given a negative LFT test.
